The End of 2023 and plans for the coming year

We’ve all been there. 2023 is wrapping up and we each surmise how our year in lieu has been; we sit and gather our thoughts and more often than not we hope and keep our fingers crossed that the next year will be better.

2023 has a been a HUGE year for myself, with the move to a quiet regional town, a new job, getting the website and you tube channel up and running. There has been many ups, downs and 2023 has presented some challenges and areas I would like to move forward in; and in saying this, the plans for 2024 of course; are going to be hopefully bigger and better with more offerings to my customers including new and fun product lines that have a more tongue in cheek approach to bathing.

Suffice to say, these endeavours will be not only rewarding but also, unfortunately with todays costings and expenses a little on the pricier side.

So the plan moving forward is to offer larger batches of soap, that yield more bars. Still small scale but more value for money and a little prettier than my standard line (in my opinion) :) So, currently as it stands, the bars mostly are approximately 120 grams per bar, this will be changed to a thicker bar that gives me more room to play with decoration; which is a good thing.

I will also be unveiling new product lines that are a little different; so not only will we have soaps as the majority but am moving towards making modest skin care lines in small batches with the focus being on quality as per normal.

ALSO, I will be reintroducing medium sized bath bombs so that my customers can save a little money and/or try new scent blends that maybe they were hesitating on because of how large my current bathbombs are. (240 grams)

In regards to the you tube channel, I will be trying to mix it up, and making sure that yes the soap making will be covered but also other products. With this, I am considering if it is successful, the possibility of making a Patreon, where I will be sharing my recipes and formulations.
