Wowee!!! What a Year
Apologies for the distinct lack of writing these days in this little blog of mine. How 2024 has kept everyone on their toes including myself.
So, for some of you that may not know yet; Ive been working quietly behind the scenes when im not working on my social media presence, (tik tok was interesting and we will see how the engagement goes), but also really really focusing on keeping weekly content on my youtube channel. It has been interesting learning all about how to create and curate you tube play lists. It has been mostly smooth sailing but, i am learning along the way and next year am really focused on upping the quality of my videos.
Next year a few things will be changing including but not limited to hopefully (fingers crossed) moving to a new premises. I am hoping to either find a home with a stand alone bungalow where I can soley dedicate it to making my body products and/or an affordable shop. With these changes means I will be better positioned to dedicate more time to and have more space to really branch out in all aspects of soap making and vlogging.
The goals currently I think that are extremely achievable is working on my confidence levels so I wont just be a pair of hands on a bench doing things. Ive realised that most of my customers I have or have had personal connections with and the reason customers buy from people isnt just good quality products alone. So with that in mind, I will be focusing on getting a little more cosy with everyone and opening the door a crack to let you in a little to my little corner of the world.
The Christmas and the Halloween line I had made I made am happy to report were moderately successful and for that I thank you all. They say it takes a community and they are one hundred percent correct.
Also, something of note, is that I have recently had a fair few customers ive sadly had to divert to other sellers from the USA and Canada; simply due to the pricing upgrade for my insurance plan which was an additonal whopping $1200 AUD, which blew my mind. SO, the goal is to be able to create and sell specific lines to be able to invest and advertise for the US and Canada.
Also, I will be branching as always into new products, which includies,sugar scrubs, bath whips, room sprays, moisturisers, shower gels and liquid hand soaps. Ive been finessing and developing these recipes for quite some time now making sure they are perfect and im 100% happy with them prior to release :)
Some of these products will be due to be released as soon as January 2025 which isnt far away at all and something I hope you will enjoy and something im incredibly proud of.
That all being said, I am still doing “Del” things slowly working away to try and make things all connect smoothly.
